PRESS: Promsvyazbank owner says quits Russia on health issues
MOSCOW, Dec 25 (PRIME) -- Co-owner of Promsvyazbank Dmitry Ananyev departed from Russia due to health troubles and his trip must not be seen as hiding, he told business daily Vedomosti in an interview released on Monday.
“I have planned to leave (Russia) for the New Year since long ago and I departed on December 22. Due to the last four months with overtime and nerve-wrecking work I saw heart issues. I planned to undergo screening both in Russia and abroad,” Ananyev said.
On December 15, the central bank launched a bailout of Promsvyazbank through the Banking Sector Consolidation Fund, but decided against introduction of a moratorium on fulfillment of liabilities to creditors.
